The 42nd NeoCon World’s Trade Fair is set for its return to Chicago’s Merchandise Mart June 14-16. Organizers are expecting more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world to view thousands of new products offered by more than 700 manufacturers in the commercial, residential, health care, hospitality, institutional and government design segments.

NeoCon will offer 150 CEU-accredited seminars, industry association forums and keynote presentations, “giving architects, designers and facility managers the opportunity to discover the newest trends and techniques from some of the top-names in the industry,” say the show’s organizers. New to this edition is a Career Development Educational Track to assist industry professionals who are looking for a job or trying to secure their current position.

Further, each day will day will be led by “top-name” keynote speakers, including: Michael Graves, architect and founder of Michael Graves & Associates and Michael Graves design group; Majora Carter, former executive director and founder of the non-profit Sustainable South Bronx; and Yves Behar, industrial designer and founder of fuseproject.

Finally, in addition to show components such as The Lighting Pavilion and GREENlifeTM, Buildex Chicago will make its debut in Chicago at this year’s NeoCon. Geared towards individuals in the building and property management industry, Buildex Chicago will offer “the latest products and strategic solutions and strategies to help manage and operate buildings more efficiently and effectively.”
