The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) has announced a call for entries to the 2011 NKBA Design Competition. Entry forms and competition rules can found at www.NKBA.org/Competition.

The annually held competition honors designers from across the U.S. and Canada, “who show exceptional aptitude for the incorporation of technology, beauty and creativity in their residential design solutions for the kitchen and bathroom,” the association says.

Entries are judged by NKBA-certified experts in nine room categories including Small Kitchen, Medium Kitchen, Large Kitchen, Open Plan Kitchen, Powder Room, Small Bathroom, Large Bathroom, Master Bathroom and Showroom.

Entries may also be judged for the "Best Of" Awards, among which include Best Kitchen and Bathroom, Best Before & After for Kitchen and Bathroom, and Best Sustainable Kitchen and Bathroom.

Cash prizes will be awarded in amounts of up to $15,000. Results of the competition will be announced on April 26, 2011, during the NKBA’s 2011 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas. The winners will be awarded at an exclusive luncheon ceremony open only to press, top designers, and select industry leaders.

For more information, visit www.NKBA.org/Competition.
