The first Tecnargilla Design Award, a competition conceived to celebrate the latest technological innovations applied to the ceramics industry, will be held during the five-day Tecnargilla show set for Sept. 27-Oct. 1, in Rimini, Italy.

The exhibition will be held in the Ceramic Workshop area, which is dedicated to exhibitions that focus on creativity in ceramics, and will see the participation of 13 companies active in the sector of creativity, decoration, and digital printing including: Colorobbia Italia, Esmalglass-Itaca, Euromeccanica, Intesa, Kerajet, Poligraph, Sertam, Siti – B&T Group, System Group, Vidres, Tecnoferrari, Torrecid, and TSC.

The designs on display will be judged by a qualified jury made up of creative directors and technical directors of ceramics firms, representatives of the press, tile retailers, and the president of ACIMAC, Pietro Cassani.
