Sponsored by the Italian Trade Commission and Confindustria Ceramica (Association of Italian Ceramic Manufacturers), Ceramic Tiles of Italy’s multi-brand pavilion at Dwell on Design (June 25-27 at the L.A. Convention Center, Los Angeles) will showcase responsibly produced and design-driven collections.

After making its debut to the thousands of design-savvy consumers and tradespeople at Dwell on Design last year, Ceramic Tiles of Italy says it is returning to the West Coast show as a show sponsor with an even larger institutional exhibit (Booth #218).

The new multi-brand pavilion will feature the latest from Italian tile manufacturers including: Appiani, Atlas Concorde, Bardelli, Brennero, Castelvetro, Romagna, Fioranese, Coem, Cerdisa, Cotto Veneto, Del Conca, Edilcuoghi, Etruria, FAP, Florim, Il Ferrone, La Fabricca, Imola, Impronta, Lea, Marazzi, Marca Corona, Monocibec, Novabell, Ragno, Refin, Rondine, Sant’Agostino, Settecento, Supergres, Tagina and Unicom Starker.

From new building and design concepts such as ventilated wall facades and thin-format tiles to ceramic tile produced with recycled TV monitors, the Ceramic Tiles of Italy booth will showcase new trends in formats, finishes and textures as well as technological advancements in production and responsible facility management. Staff will give out promotional materials, as well as a listing of local dealers

Ceramic Tiles of Italy is also sponsoring two seminars on the Sustainability Stage on Friday, June 25 from 5:30-5:55pm and Saturday, June 26 from 3:00-3:25pm. “Ceramic Tile in the Modern Home - A Sustainable + Design-Forward Solution” will feature modernist architect Michael P. Johnson and Christine Abbate, principal of Novità. Johnson will share award-winning residential case studies where tile has been used beyond the kitchen and bath to stunning and sustainable effect.
