USG Corp. has launched the its Durock® Cement Board Next Gen featuring "advanced USG cement technology that reduces the board's weight by up to 25% and makes Durock Cement Board Next Gen the lightest cement board available," the company notes. USG also increased the product’s recycled content by 40%, and formulated it using less energy-intensive raw materials.
