I’ll make this short and sweet with just one question: which social networking site do you find yourself using the most?

As many of you know, TILE is already on FaceBook (see our homepage for the direct link), as well as Twitter (www.twitter.com/TileMagazine). If you’re not a “fan” or a “follower” yet, we hope to see you on board soon.

So, which do you use the most and why?
  • FaceBook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • all of the above
  • none of the above

Title: Social Networking

It's so awesome that you guys are expanding beyond your comfort zones to use Social Networking to interact with interested folks, share what you know and learn every day, help folks in the trade and grow.

Have you considered LinkedIn?

Twitter is popular too.

I would recommend staying away from MySpace.

Additionally, there are company's such as Ning (www.ning.com) and Lithium (www.lithium.com) which allow companies and individuals to create their own unique Social Networks.

Good Luck...

Title: Communication survey

I use Facebook pretty commonly. I refuse to engage in Twitter as my time is too important to be bothered with endless updates, for the sake of updates. As an installer, I need my hands free throughout the day.

Actually, we are on Twitter. You can find us here: http://twitter.com/TileMagazine

As Shaughn mentioned, about the frequent "tweets" associated with Twitter, it can get annoying. That's why we've chosen to keep our Twitter updates to one a day, unless absolutely necessary. We'll be on LinkedIn soon as well. I love the new tools editors have been given!

I would really love to hear additional opinions (positive, negative, or even neutral) about social networking sites, so please feel free to chime in!

I have not found you on LinkedIn but I did on Facebook. I use both but for most business it is LinkedIn. I do not Twitter because (A) too short to say anything with meaning, (B)too many endless updates. Glad to find you and look forward to your updates.

Title: Social Media

I use Facebook and Twitter the most, both to follow others and to keep up with news, as well as to talk to our clients' target audiences as well.

Title: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn

As of today, our Facebook page boasts 182 fans, and our Twitter page has 103 followers. Both are growing daily, and we have only our readers to thank.

As a courtesy, because I know time is a valuable commodity, I keep the tweets on Twitter to one a day.

Finally, our LinkedIn page should go live soon. I'll post a note when it does.

Have a great Fourth of July weekend everyone!
