GranitiFiandre has been selected by
the Commission of Italy for Shanghai World Expo 2010 to represent the country’s
ceramic sector in the Italian Pavilion. The “Better City, Better Life” themed
event to be held from May 1 – October 31, 2010, “anticipates the participation
of over 200 countries and 70 millions visitors as it promote sustainable, urban
development,” say expo organizers.

proudly accepts this prestigious invitation to represent our country’s ceramic sector
at the prestigious Shanghai World Expo. Our vast offering of sustainable and
innovative porcelain tile products will be on display at the Italian Pavilion
among the best of ‘Made
in Italy’ products,”
said Graziano Verdi, chief executive officer and managing director for the GranitiFiandre
Group.
The Italian Pavilion — named
The City of Man — was designed by Architect Giampaolo Imbrighi (group
leader) and Studio Iodice to represent Italy’s traditional pluralism and regional
customs. Products and materials on display will highlight “sustainable innovations
by dynamic, Italian companies,” notes GranitiFiandre.
